Spring Fever II

The whole way to work this morning, I had a forgotten velcro roller secured to the back of my head. This was brought to my attention when the gentleman behind me bumped my head while unfolding his newspaper. "That felt strange," I thought. As though I do this every morning, I unrolled it, brushed my hair out with my fingers, and popped the roller in my purse. Inside, though, I was dying of embarrassment.

Spring Fever
Most days of my life I wake up, go to work, come home, and go to bed. Sometimes Mr. Crabby and I watch TV (ok, most times we watch lots and lots of TV) or play Trivial Pursuit. On weekends, I nap. That's pretty much it.

This week, though, I have four Big Things to fit into that hectic schedule: an awards luncheon, an evening at the (community) theatre, my nephew's wedding, and dinner with our neighbours! Er... make that five Big Things. I also have to shop for an outfit to wear to the wedding, as all my fancy clothes are now too big. I despise shopping.

How will I fit it all in? I'm only one person, and I still don't have an assistant. It just isn't fair.
