Ned Kelly: Dumb. He steals a horse in the first scene, which results in a life of crime and killing cops, yet we are supposed to feel for this character. Hmph.

Calendar Girls: Wonderful. I want to be Helen Mirrin when I grow up.

Alamo: Not for me, but at least I now know where the battle cry "Remember the Alamo" comes from. Revenge wars and movies based on them are so self-indulgent. I'd like Hollywood to make a "Remember Wounded Knee" movie. Give the native Americans their chance for revenge. I'd pay to see that for sure!
